The RENEGADE EVO GTX MID shoes are suitable for mountain walks and hikes, as well as for everyday activities in winter. The GORE-TEX® membrane protects against water penetration, but also allows the foot to breathe. This technology provides perfect comfort for all outdoor activities, even in the worst weather conditions. The laces of these shoes are built in a special system - 2-Zone-Lacing are two independent zones with laces, one in the front and the other in the upper part of the shoe for individual adjustment and comfort. The SUPPORT FRAME construction of a wrapping mesh provides excellent support for the foot for hiking in rural areas. The VIBRAM RENE TRAC® sole has a multi-directional self-cleaning lug and provides optimal traction on all terrains.
• GORE-TEX® – Guaranteed weather protection, even in pouring rain and heavy snow: The RENEGADE EVO GTX MID is equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane. The innovative technology delivers optimal waterproof protection and breathability.
• DOUBLE INJECTION - To provide effective cushioning and improved comfort, the sole of the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID is bonded to the upper in a technically demanding injection process. The upper boot is placed into a specially designed mould. Various layers of PU foam padding are then poured into it. In the process, the sole and upper are bonded together.
• SUPPORT FRAME - With the LOWA MONOWRAP® frame, the midsole of the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID provides the very best comfort. This three-dimensional midsole design was developed by LOWA in 1995. The frame comfortably cradles the foot and support it when the shoe wearer ventures across uneven surfaces. The sole design is slightly raised for shoes with a SUPPORT FRAME.
• 2-Zone-Lacing – Thanks to the two-zone lacing system used in the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID, the forefoot and upper have their own separately adjustable lacing zones. As a result, the shoe can be individually adapted to the anatomy of the foot and laced in different ways for ascents and descents.
• Dyna PU - The midsole is the leading contributor to the footwear’s rolling properties and cushioning. In the RENEGADE EVO GTX MID, this midsole is made of a specially developed plastic: LOWA DynaPU®. The special feature: It retains its restoring force even when it’s pressed together thousands of times. As a result, the finished boots will maintain their exceptional cushioning properties even after you have walked many kilometres in them.
• The self-cleaning VIBRAM RENE TRAC® with a multidirectional profile alignment provides optimal grip on a wide variety of terrains. Combined with a distinctive heel edge, the sole allows pleasant rolling behavior for comfortable ascents and descents.
