• Guaranteed weather protection, even in pouring rain and heavy snow: The TAURUS PRO GTX MID Ws is equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane. The innovative technology delivers optimal waterproof protection and breathability.
• The TAURUS PRO GTX MID Ws is footwear onto which the outsole has been directly injected. This manufacturing technique creates an exceptionally precise and very strong bond between the sole and upper.
• With the LOWA-MONOWRAP® frame, the midsole of the TAURUS PRO GTX MID Ws provides the very best comfort. This three-dimensional midsole design was developed by LOWA in 1995. The frame comfortably cradles the foot and support it when the shoe wearer ventures across uneven surfaces. The sole design is slightly raised for shoes with a SUPPORT FRAME.
• To ensure perfect fit, the lasts used for TAURUS PRO GTX MID Ws have been specially designed with the anatomy of women’s feet in mind. The last plays a key role in the ultimate fit of a boot. Women’s feet have less volume than men’s feet. As a result, the instep height and the ball area of these lasts have been altered.
• The TAURUS PRO GTX MID Ws is equipped with a LOWA RUBBER OUTSOLE. Conceived by LOWA to meet the challenges of real-world use, the profile design is made from an optimised rubber compound. The result is a rubber outsole with good traction in the backcountry and off trail. The LOWA® LIMA sole impresses with its multidirectional profile alignment that provides a solid grip on moderate terrain. To ensure pleasant mountain climbs, the sole also has a distinctive heel edge.
